The Protection, Cohesion and Livelihoods for Vulnerable Communities in the Southeast of Turkey is carried out in partnership with Development Foundation of TURKEY (DFT) and Art Anywhere Association (AA)/ Sirkhane under the coordination of Weltungerhilfe (WHH).

AA carries out works focusing on children and young people in the protection and social cohesion areas of the TUR 1016 project in Mardin, Diyarbakır and Batman. In addition, it is to support the protection and livelihood needs of adults under temporary protection in the child's primary circles (their parents and families) and by referring them to other institutions, especially to the project partners. It facilitates bureaucratic difficulties as well as registration support for children and young people under temporary and international protection status to participate in formal and non-formal education activities.

Besides, it strengthens social harmony by bringing together refugee and local children in creative workshops. Social Circus, Social Music, Analog Photography, Science and Ecology workshops are offered to children in the form of 2-month fixed workshops, 2-week mobile workshops and 2-year advanced workshops. In these workshops, awareness issues such as children's rights, child labor, gender, environment and ecology are also discussed, and children's personal and social development is supported with complementary management.

It also strengthens children's participation in daily life through the Sirkhane’s Child Council which is one of its community-based awareness-raising activities. Child Council members who complete the awareness training modules organize peer-to-peer panels in schools or areas where different child groups are located.

Finally, the children participating in the workshops within the scope of the project contribute to their well-being with thematic mini circus and music shows organized together. These events aim to organize intercultural socialization activities and reinforce social cohesion.

We are everywhere for children. Circus activities for children who do not have access to circus, music, photography and many other fun activities, Mobil Sirkhane organizes workshops and events in neighborhoods, villages, towns and regions.

In this regard, we reach children with our workshops in remote villages and neighborhoods of Mardin, Diyarbakır and Batman.
